Please note:

The ILabValidator module provides the method SetTreatment for setting treatment relevant parameters like the canton, the applied law (UVG, KVG,...), as well as the property RoleType for setting the principal role of the service provider (Physician, Hospital, Laboratory,...).

Currently these parameters are not relevant!
Neither are these parameters used for validating/limiting the set of available services nor is the evaluated tax point value in any way a function of these parameters.

However, the future might be different?
As e.g. the ELA/LFA ("Eidgenössische Analyseliste") of 1. Jan. 2002 names textual limitations ("...applicable for children < 5..."), maybe these parameters influences in the future the set of applicable services and/or the tax point values as a function of these parameters.

Should that occur, there is no further need for a software company to change any of their code, as the parameters are already supplied to the validator module. Therefore we strongly urge you to use this feature.
